Flanged Pressure Relief Valve

Flanged Pressure Relief Valve

A Flanged Pressure Relief Valve provides automatic overpressure protection for pipelines, pressure vessels and industrial process equipment.

Under normal operating conditions, the valve remains closed. If system pressure rises to the valve’s predetermined set pressure, the internal mechanism opens to discharge media and relieve excess pressure. Once system pressure returns to an acceptable level, the valve reseats.

The pictured model is a flanged safety/relief valve with a spring-loaded design. Its flanged connection provides a secure installation for demanding industrial applications where reliable pressure protection is critical.

Pressure relief valves are safety-critical components and must always be correctly selected and set according to the specific system pressure, temperature, media and applicable engineering requirements.
