Non-Return Valve

Non-Return Valve

A Non-Return Valve (NRV), also known as a check valve, operates automatically in response to the direction and pressure of the media flowing through the pipeline.

During normal forward flow, the internal closing element opens to allow media to pass through. When the flow stops or begins to reverse, the valve automatically closes, helping to prevent backflow through the system.

The pictured model appears to be a compact axial/non-slam style non-return valve, rather than a conventional swing check valve. Its compact design makes it suitable for installations where reliable backflow protection and efficient pipeline operation are required.
