A Ball Check Valve uses a freely moving ball as the closing mechanism. Forward flow moves the ball away from the valve seat, allowing media to pass through the valve. When flow stops or reverses, the ball returns to the seat, automatically closing the valve and helping to prevent backflow.
The simple internal design provides dependable operation with minimal moving components, making ball check valves particularly suitable for applications where reliability and ease of maintenance are important.
Their design makes them well suited to pumping installations and pipeline systems handling water, wastewater and other compatible process media.
