A Needle Valve is designed to provide precise regulation of fluid or gas flow. Unlike valves primarily intended for simple open/closed operation, the needle valve uses a finely controlled stem and seating arrangement that allows the flow rate to be gradually adjusted.
Turning the handle moves the internal stem towards or away from the seat, enabling fine control over the opening. This makes needle valves particularly suitable for instrumentation, pressure-control, sampling and other applications requiring accurate flow adjustment.
