A Proximity Sensor, commonly referred to as a proxy, provides non-contact position detection for automated valves, actuators and industrial equipment.
In valve automation applications, the sensor can be used to detect when a valve or actuator reaches a predetermined position, such as fully open or fully closed, and transmit an electrical signal to the associated control or monitoring system.
The cylindrical threaded design allows the sensor’s position to be adjusted during installation, while the locking nuts secure it at the required sensing position.
